Thank you Steve.

Things have been going well for me in recent weeks.

Hence, being content, I've become a little lax in my Bible study. I give prayers of thanks always, but this morning, I wanted my Bible study to reflect my gratitude for this peaceful and contented stretch of time.

While we are quick to snatch the Bible from the shelf when we suffer trials, we somehow forget to even dust the book when all is well with us.

Initially, I couldn't think think of any scriptures that said to God, "Hey, everything's okay. Thank you." But your 5/18/09 detailing of 1st Timothy 6:6 is exactly what I was looking for.

Once again, thanks.
