A little over a year ago, a decision was made to migrate the Biblepraise website from the WordPress platform we have been using for years. The reason for this was that like any other general purpose platform, it is always difficult to make changes quickly when you feel the need to do so.

There was so much I wanted to add to the current website to make it more engaging and interactive but this was not possible before now. Being a developer myself, it was only a matter of time before I made the decision to roll out my own web solution to drive both the website and the newsletter. To the glory of God, that plan has now become reality.

For years, we have been sending the newsletters through Yahoogroups. This process has been plagued with many problems including non-delivery of emails to readers and the inability to effectively track subscriptions and unsubscriptions. I am aware that we have a number of subscribers whose emails may no longer be active. This has now been migrated and is now self-managed.

We can now ensure that only active subscribers are sent the newsletters and also make it easy to subscribe via the website as well as unsubscribe within the newsletter itself. With this new website in place, it has now become easier to implement new features to make the website more engaging and to reach out more effectively. After all, the purpose of the Biblepraise vision is to minister encouragement, hope as well as share spiritual insights with one another.

I want to thank all our readers who have been faithful over the years. Your emails showing concern when you handn't receieved the newsletter for a while and your encouragement and support when you did are all sincerely appreciated.

I will appreciate feedback on the new website as well as the new format of the newsletter. Please feel free to drop a line either on the website or by sending email to me directly at steve@biblepraise.org

I pray that the new year will be a year filled with the riches of God's blessings for you and your loved ones in Jesus name.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. (2 Thessalonians 3:16)

God bless you!

Steve
