How do you feel when you meet with someone very important? Even better, what if you had the opportunity to spend time with someone really important? Generally speaking, there is usually a sense of excitement when someone anticipates meeting someone they’ve only heard of but not actually met.As I was thinking about this, I remembered one of my friends many years ago who met someone important and shook hands with them. It is a fact that at some point in our lives, we have someone that we have followed. As children, our main focus of attention was our parents or the people who cared for us. Wherever they went, we always wanted to follow. I remember when my children were toddlers, my wife and I always prayed that they would still be asleep by the time I was leaving home for work. How many times have you heard this question? If you are married, your spouse probably asked you this question a couple of times. Young people in a relationship probably asked this question more often than not.

Why do people ask this question? While it may be difficult to establish the exact reason why this happens, due to the complexity of human nature, we can safely conclude that this question seeks re-assurance.

If you walk up to a stranger and ask him or her the question, 'Do you love me?' They would look at you with an expression that says, 'Are you out of your mind?'  This establishes one fact; before a person would ask this kind of question from another, there would already exist a relationship.
